Base pay range: $18.15/hr - $24.20/hr

Summary

Responsible for custodial/housekeeping duties in the Montgomery County Court House and other designated locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, trash removal), restocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Follow cleaning schedules to minimize disruption, respond to unexpected needs, and adapt to changes.
• Adhere to safety rules for handling cleaning agents and operate power equipment safely.
• Communicate effectively with staff and visitors and work harmoniously with team members.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials properly, with appropriate training.
• Maintain punctuality and respond to cleaning assignments across various locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior custodial experience.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity required.
