Job summary

Granby Elementary School in East Grand School District seeks a full-time evening custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across classrooms, hallways, and common areas. Responsibilities include cleaning, snow removal assistance, setting up spaces for events, and building security during shifts.

Position offers 40 hours with overtime opportunities; shifts span late afternoons to early mornings, with flexibility to fit personal schedules.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
No prior custodial experience required; custodial or housekeeping experience is a plus.
Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and frequent movement for cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas of the facility including classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
Trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitation duties performed regularly.
Assist with snow removal from walkways and apply sand for safety.
Set up for internal and external groups using facilities; open and close building as needed.
Perform general maintenance tasks related to upkeep and operation of the facility.
Advise maintenance director on issues outside general knowledge; assist where needed.
Ensure security of building entrances and occupants during shifts.
