Job Description

Granby Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for second shift part-time custodian.

The custodian is responsible for the cleaning activities of the school building as assigned and immediate grounds, walkways, paths, exits, and entranceways. Primarily performs custodial work, but also performs minor maintenance tasks as required.

The Custodian works under the combined supervision of the Head Custodian, Lead Custodian,Facilities Manager, Facilities Director, and also partners and accepts leadership from the School Principal.

Hours for this position will be 4 hours per shift, Monday through Friday. Hours maybe flexedbetween 5:00 - 9:00 pm and 6:00 - 10:00 pm depending on need.Entry rate of pay is $25.55/hr. For more information, see theUPSEU Collective Bargaining Agreement .

The successful candidate willbe required to submit to a state and national criminal history check, as well as a DCF search.
