Job summary

Alpine School District is seeking a Custodian - Sweeper for 3 hours per day, 3pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday. The position is non-contract with no benefits, paying an hourly rate of $13.71.

The role involves cleaning classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, and other facilities, keeping the environment sanitary, safe, and presentable for students and staff. It requires lifting up to 80 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds as needed, with duties aligned to campus operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Prepares site for daily operations such as opening gates and sweeping walkways.
• Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies to ensure adequate quantities.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize property damage and liability.
• Supports other site maintenance staff to complete custodial tasks.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient unit functioning.
