Job summary

Yavapai County is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain County facilities with evening shifts 5:00pm–1:00am. Most weeks are 15–29 hours, with some variation in days. The role performs routine cleaning, resets, and basic maintenance, including restrooms, floors, and glass surfaces.

Training is provided; no prior experience required beyond a high school diploma and a valid Arizona driver’s license. Work involves following safety procedures, using cleaning chemicals properly, and reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain County facilities, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, carpet spotting and cleaning restrooms, entries, walkway, and glass.
• Perform equipment care, including cleaning and changing belts and bags.
• Identify and report repair needs and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies for assigned buildings.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
