Job summary

Lincolnton Middle School in Lincolnton, NC seeks an Evening Custodian who also serves as a Bus Driver. This permanent, full-time position is six hours per day, ten months per year, with benefit eligibility and dual employment requirements.

Must obtain a CDL within one year of hire. Salary ranges from $16.07 to $21.69 per hour, with pay based on NC State Retirement System years of service and Lincoln County Schools' pay scale for current employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and TB test.
• Valid NCCDL license and bus driving record.
• Must obtain CDL within one year of hire.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous work.
• Ability to supervise custodian staff and maintain building cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Delivers supplies and equipment, and performs minor repairs.
• Operates cleaning equipment and maintains cleanliness according to schedule.
• Transport students to and from school as needed.
• Maintains equipment and ensures fuel and fluids are topped up.
