Job summary

Miss Hall’s School is hiring a Custodian for the 3rd shift, with start times flexible between 9 PM and midnight. The role focuses on detailed cleaning of campus facilities and residential properties, with additional support for facilities services as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of custodial methods, tools, and equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently with good time-management skills.

• Flexible to cover evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, furniture, floors, and surfaces.
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment; perform minor repairs when needed.
• Lock/unlock buildings, secure facilities when not in use, monitor access.
• Follow chemical handling and safety instructions.
• Strip, clean, buff, and seal floors as required.
• Perform snow removal and exterior debris removal as needed.
• Assist with meeting/classroom/event setup.
• Be a reliable team member with punctual attendance.
• Adapt schedule for deep cleaning or special projects during breaks.
