Job summary

Olympic College is seeking applicants for a Temporary Custodian 3 position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment by cleaning, sanitizing, and performing Custodial cleaning services and light maintenance in classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Ensures the campus is safe and sanitary for the students and staff of Olympic College.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Walk, stand or sit for up to eight hours per shift as required.
• One year of Custodian or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms to ensure a healthy learning environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Perform minor repairs and light painting as needed.
• Floor care including stripping and refinishing and carpet maintenance.
• Assist with event setups and moving furniture as required.
• Use work order system and maintain supply records.

Skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Stamina for eight-hour shifts

Valid driver’s license
