Job summary

The role requires training and supervising full-time and hourly staff, coordinating with leadership on budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of custodial experience with one year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays and Sundays to lead the team and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, plans, schedules, assigns, monitors, and evaluates the work of staff.
• Leads custodial team to complete tasks and projects with quality standards and deadlines.
• Communicates with Director, staff, customers, vendors by phone, email, or in person.
• Approves timecards and leave requests (MyTime, AggieTime).
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies; coordinates with Director on budgets.
• Organizes regular team meetings and conducts performance evaluations.
• Oversees safe work practices and continuous improvement of safety.
