Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Service Worker for the Baylor Scott and White Lakeway location on Second Shift with rotating weekends. The EVS Worker will clean and maintain assigned areas to meet patient and client expectations, following Aramark and client standards and safety regulations.

The role involves sanitizing patient rooms, waste disposal, equipment maintenance, and high attention to infection control.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment and follow OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers; adapts to customer needs.
• Secures the facility and ensures building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
