Job summary

American Senior Communities is hiring a Culinary Aide at HC Peru in Peru, Indiana. You will assist with meal prep and service, helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area while supporting residents with safe, nutritious meals.

The role is part-time evenings, with every other weekend required. You’ll work closely with culinary leaders and service staff to meet residents’ dietary needs and deliver a positive dining experience in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team.
• Preferred: sanitation/food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
