The CSR Central Sterile and Reprocessing Specialist at Trinity Health Livingston in Brighton, MI is responsible for cleaning contaminated instruments, loading washers, and operating autoclaves to meet quality standards across OR, Cath Lab, and ER. Qualifications

• Requires minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Central Sterile Reprocessing program or 6–12 months of relevant experience.
• Certification in Sterile Reprocessing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans contaminated instruments and trays using proper cleaning techniques and OSHA guidelines.
• May clean and assemble vendor instrument sets and maintain vendor relationships.
• Reprocesses sets and trays using advanced techniques and operates washers and autoclaves.
• Assembles and labels instruments for sterilization and completes sets for multiple services.
