Schedule: Mon–Thu, 3:30–7:30 PM. Assist with classroom and hands-on salon instruction and help students practice skills while maintaining sanitation and safety. The ideal candidate holds a MA Cosmetology license (and preferably a MA Cosmetology Instructor license) with 3 years of industry experience, enabling effective support

Qualifications

• Current MA Cosmetology license in good standing.
• Active or in-process MA Cosmetology Instructor license.
• 3 years of professional cosmetology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cosmetology Instructor with classroom and hands-on salon instruction.
• Provide individual and small-group support as students practice cosmetology skills.
• Reinforce sanitation, safety, tool use, and professional salon practices.
• Assist with demonstrations, student practice, supplies, equipment, and classroom prep.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional classroom and salon environment.
• Reinforce professionalism, communication, customer service, and workplace expectations.
• Support students toward program completion and licensure.
• Collaborate with the Cosmetology Instructor and ATI staff to support student success.
