Job summary

American Senior Communities' Maple Park Village in Westfield, IN is seeking a Cook for the evening shift to prepare meals for residents and ensure nutrition and safety standards are met. You will lead kitchen tasks, follow recipes, and maintain a clean work area in a caring, team-driven environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED (or 1–3 years related experience); sanitation certification is preferred, with opportunities for growth within ASC’s caregiving network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred.
• Healthcare institutional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare meals per menus meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Cook and assemble palatable, nutritious meals in required quantities.
• Lead kitchen staff with food prep, trays, and storage tasks.
• Maintain a clean food service area during food preparation and service.
• Handle, store, and dispose of food according to procedures and regulations.
