Opa's Pizza in Kentucky is hiring a cook to prepare a brief menu of dishes for customers. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00PM to 9:30PM. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the kitchen team and manager.

Qualifications

• Culinary school education preferred.
• Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.
• Ability to pass a food service sanitation course.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes (weighing, chopping, and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly, preserving freshness and inspect products and supplies as needed.
• Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
• Ensure an orderly kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
• Help lead and inspire our kitchen staff with the restaurant manager.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment and comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Control and minimize waste.
