American Senior Communities in Franklin, IN, is seeking a Cook for Franklin Meadows on the evening shift. You will join our culinary team to prepare and serve nutritious meals while upholding sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes to meet nutritional needs, preparing meals in required quantities, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean work area. Knowledge of food safety and prior healthcare food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Preferred: Prior Institutional/Healthcare food service experience.

Responsabilités

• Follows recipes and prepares food that meets residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, nutritious meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning and storage of supplies.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during service.
• Handles, stores and disposes of food per procedures and regulations.
