Job summary

Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is seeking a Cook / Host for The Placery, our evening Food & Beverage operation in Mount Pleasant, SC. Duties include food preparation, plating, guest interaction, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.

Shifts are Tuesday–Saturday from 4:45pm to 10:15pm, with opportunities for growth within Hyatt. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and organized, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while delivering exceptional hospitality

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Basic food preparation knowledge and food-handling awareness.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain it; Alcohol Awareness certification or willingness.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Take orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations.
• Prepare food according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow health guidelines.
• Support kitchen operations and follow Hyatt brand standards.
