Job summary

The role includes working with the commissary and deli teams to prepare in-house foods, fulfill special orders, and ensure precise labeling and pricing.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, reach, bend, and climb.
• Willingness to work in coolers and freezers.
• Willingness to work outside in the elements.
• Regular, predictable attendance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to efficiency, detail, and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Windows 7 operating system.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to Bloomingfoods internal and external customers.
• Perform daily duties of receiving, stocking, selling, replenishing, food preparation, and serving customers.
• Process and stock displays according to schematics; rotate and face items; maintain clean storage and display areas.
• Prepare in-house deli foods following established recipes and assemble items for the food bar; handle special orders for pickup/delivery.
• Maintain carts/baskets for customers; perform cleaning and maintenance; monitor restrooms and keep supply levels; open/close displays and follow security procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate effectively with teams; stay informed of co-op news via bulletin boards and Paycor.
