Job summary

Compass Group USA at the University of Utah is hiring for full- and part-time COOK positions. Location: 200 S Central Campus Drive, Rm 30, Salt Lake City, UT 84112. Shifts vary 7:00 AM–9:00 PM across multiple locations. Online applications accepted only.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for PM shift. Benefitso include complimentary shift meals, safety shoe stipend for full-time, night-shift differential, Trax pass and parking pass for full-time night

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cook experience with large batch cooking and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Ensures food is served at correct temperatures and portions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe food-handling practices in the kitchen.
• Assists with ordering, receiving, and inventory as needed.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and safety policies.
