Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Security Officer for a college in Beverly, MA. Daily schedule is Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with starting pay of $19.28 per hour, plus paid orientation and training.

As an unarmed patrol officer on an educational campus, you will provide security, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner according to campus protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors per site procedures.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and communicate information to appropriate personnel.
