Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Multi-Die Cold Header/Threader Operator to maintain equipment, perform set-ups, and troubleshoot in a 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday shift with overtime as needed.

You will inspect parts with precision tools, adjust speeds and tooling, train new hires, and operate a forklift to move materials. High school diploma or GED and 5 years' heading/threading experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of experience in setting up and the operation of Heading/Threading machines.
• Experience with Asahi, Saspi Ingramatic Ewmen machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use blueprints to conduct visual product inspections and document results using the SPC program.
• Adjust machine components to control speed, pressure, dimensions, and material flow; change tooling as needed.
• Inspect and measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges; monitor machine performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; perform housekeeping and daily machine maintenance.
• Operate a forklift to retrieve raw materials and transport finished products.
