Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to support residents during the 11-7 shift. Under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, you will take vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and monitor patient condition.

Qualifications

• Must be able to express self in written and oral communication.
• Minimum High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist with grooming, dressing, eating and hydration.
• Care for residents environment and daily living activities.
• Observe and report changes to a licensed nurse.
• Assist with transferring, turning and positioning residents.
• Participate in care planning and documentation processes.
