Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal nursing care under the direction of a licensed RN. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and reporting patient status to the RN.

Requirements include a CNA certification and Basic Life Support, with preferred phlebotomy and audiometry training in CA. This 12-hour shift position at Glendale, CA offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred

Responsabilités

• Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living, including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints and restorative care.
• Takes vital signs including, pulse and blood pressure.
• Helps patients with their basic needs, i.e., bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Performs a variety clerical duties, which include but are not limited to routing patient reports as appropriate.
• Provides assessment data to certified nurse within the scope of practice (vital signs, patient verbal and nonverbal responses, etc.).
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Formation

CNA certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Phlebotomy Certification

Audiometry training or CHDP certificate
