Athol Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking Nurse Aide / CNA staff for 24-hour coverage with evening shifts (3:00pm - 11:30pm). Positions offer competitive hourly wages and benefits. Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, data collection, and daily living assistance.

Applicants should have CNA certification or equivalent, current BLS, and be capable of providing compassionate, quality care in a hospital setting. Flexible shifts and weekend rotation are required.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred; CNA cert or 75 hours in accredited nursing program to include first rotation.
• Massachusetts CNA licensure or out-of-state equivalent required.
• Current AHA BLS upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care based on standards of care and protocols under direction of a licensed nurse.
• Collects basic health data as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Assists patients with activities of daily care (e.g., personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, ambulation).
• Prioritizes patient care and seeks assistance as needed.
• Respects patients and maintains dignity and self-esteem.
• Documents all pertinent patient information thoroughly and timely.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment; identifies safety hazards.
• Provides timely information on assigned patients to supervising nurse and care team.
• Participates in staff learning and orientation activities.
• Identifies risks to patient safety and helps reduce errors.
