Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility and activities of daily living.
• Attend to residents' physical, emotional and psychosocial well-being according to each resident’s need.
• Communicate positively with residents and respond to behaviors appropriately.
• Adhere to team concepts and collaborate with coworkers for residents and facility benefit.
• Practice infection control procedures and follow safety/emergency procedures.
