Rest Haven in York, PA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 3pm–11pm full-time shift. The role involves direct resident care, assisting with daily activities, and following care plans under supervision.

The position requires PA CNA certification, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, compassion, and reliability. Compensation ranges from $21 to $25 per hour, with weekend and some holiday coverage as described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Patience, compassion and sense of responsibility required.
• Ability to communicate with elderly and other staff.
• Mental and physical health capable of meeting job demands.
• Criminal history background clearance – Act 169 & Act 13.

Responsabilités

• Perform AM or PM care as outlined in resident care plans and update changes.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bathes residents, helps with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Make beds and keep resident rooms clean and orderly.
• Deliver, serve, and remove meal trays; assist with meals as needed.
• Transport residents for meals and activities; assist with tests and appointments.
• Assist with and observe vital signs and record changes; observe and report.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in QAPI initiatives.
