Mary's Meadow at Providence Place in Florida is seeking a part-time CNA for evening shifts to deliver holistic, resident-centered care in a unique small-house care setting. You will work under licensed supervision, assisting with daily living activities and participating in care planning to support independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care, attention to safety, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Maintain a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) certification as required by the State of Massachusetts.
• Receive training in safe food handling techniques, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Care.
• Showcase your culinary skills for meal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Listening to reports and obtaining assignments at the start of your shift to understand each resident’s current care plans.
• Providing personalized care, including assistance with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Participating in collaborative care planning meetings with the clinical support team to create resident-centered care plans.
• Observing residents closely and promptly reporting any changes or reactions to the nurse.
• Documenting care accurately in our electronic medical record system.
• Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and cleaning up afterward, ensuring the preferences of each elder are met.
• Assisting with laundry and maintaining a clean and welcoming home environment.
• Communicating effectively with co-workers to meet the needs of our elders and ensuring their safety and engagement.
• Attending team meetings and actively contributing to discussions.
• Reporting accidents and incidents, following safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
• Actively participating in educational programs and maintaining required certifications.
