Job summary

Cantex is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team on a 2p-10p shift. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor safety, and help ensure comfort and dignity for residents in our care setting.

The successful candidate will hold an active CNA certification, be able to lift and reposition patients safely, communicate effectively in English, and work well with others in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Ability to lift/move patients safely and work in a team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure medical equipment is clean, charged, and functioning.
• Participate in shift handoffs and team communication.
• Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
