Cantex Continuing Care Network in Lufkin, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team on the 2p-10p shift. You will deliver direct patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor patient conditions, and document care to support safe, dignified daily living for residents.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and patient-first mindset.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment; ensure medical equipment is clean and functioning.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
