Job summary

Legacy Pointe at UCF is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an intimate, person-centered role in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and support a compassionate care team.

The position supports independence while ensuring safety, dignity, and quality of life for residents, with a focus on teamwork, clear communication, and precise documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of care setting experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and staff.
• Ability to document care notes and use electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in ADLs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Promote dignity and safety; maintain a supportive environment.
• Document care notes accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with transfers, feeding, and routine tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with SNF Nurse Manager and nursing team.
