Job summary

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3pm to 11pm shift. You will provide personal care, assist the charge nurse, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a long-term and rehabilitative care setting.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant is required.
• Familiar with CNA duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures safety and comfort.
• Promote and support the greatest possible independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident status at start and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions to care plans.
• Assist in implementing care plans per policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions and document observations.
• Follow safe lifting and transfer procedures.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
