Job summary

Covingtoncountyhospital is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our team for a full-time evening shift (3 pm - 11 pm). You will assist with patient hygiene, mobility, meals, and monitoring vital signs, reporting concerns to a Registered Nurse.

Eligible candidates must hold CNA certification from the MS State Board of Nursing and BLS certification. This role offers health, dental and vision insurance, PTO/STO, and retirement benefits (401A).

Qualifications

• Certification required with MS State Board of Nursing
• BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Help patients use the bathroom
• Assist with bathing and hygiene
• Maintain patients' bedding and change bedding
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
• Serve meals
• Measure vital signs including blood pressure, pulse and temperature
• Report health concerns to a Registered Nurse
