Job summary

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on 3pm to 11pm shifts with double weekends. You will provide personal care, assist the charge nurse, and contribute to a compassionate, patient‑centered environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help residents maintain independence, document observations, and support safety.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Familiar with CNA duties
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents
• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy
• Observes and reports on residents’ conditions and documents observations
• Safely lift/transfer residents per policies and procedures
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Other duties as assigned
