Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Velva, ND is seeking a part-time, evening Certified Med Aide I at Valley View Manor. No experience required; we are willing to train, with on-site training offered.

You will assist residents with basic health care needs, vital signs, personal care, and medication administration as delegated by a licensed nurse. This role includes light duties such as housekeeping, laundry, and meal service, and offers PTO and Holiday Pay as part of a supportive not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Completion and certification in an accredited nursing assistant training program and state approved medication aide course.
• Basic ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and document resident responses.
• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist residents with meals, transfers, and light housekeeping or laundry duties.
