Qualifications

• Valid Medication Aide Certification and CPR certification required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and professional in a secure healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as authorized under your certification and applicable regulations.
• Document medication administration and patient information accurately.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to licensed staff.
• Assist with routine patient care within your scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe patient care.
• Follow facility policies and correctional healthcare standards.
