Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for the Walla Walla, WA area. Local pay is $36.42 per hour (W2). The role involves patient care under a physician and nurse supervision, including venipuncture and lab specimen prep.

The position requires WA licensure, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and at least one year of related experience. Evening shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with days TBD; benefits include health/dental/vision and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Current, valid WA license/certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of one year related work experience.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under physician direction and nurse supervision.
• Conduct peripheral venipuncture and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Assist with administration of oral medications and injections as directed.
• Assist with EKGs and other diagnostic procedures.
• Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents and prepare examining rooms.
