Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina. The full-time evening shift runs 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM on a rotating schedule with every-other-weekend work and night/ weekend differential.

You will administer medications and support patient care within a structured correctional healthcare setting, collaborating with a skilled medical team to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Certified CMA with current NC credentials.
• Experience in correctional or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to follow protocols and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications within your scope of practice and established protocols.
• Assist with routine patient care and clinical needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Maintain accurate medication and medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow healthcare, safety, and facility security procedures.
• Deliver respectful, compassionate patient care.
