Job summary

Bayside CBS, LLC is seeking a Cleaning Tech 1 to maintain a clean and healthy building for our clients. Schedule Monday–Friday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (15 hours per week) with time off on Saturdays, Sundays and school summer time.

This role offers the potential to advance to Tech 2 after the first 90 days, with training, safety compliance, and a focus on meeting customer expectations. You will work under Site supervision and contribute to a harassment-free, ethical workplace.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Clean driving record if company vehicle is used.
• Works autonomously and uses time efficiently.
• Effective written and verbal communication with all team members.
• Detail oriented with attention to special requests.
• Independent thinker with good judgement and initiative.
• Ability to solve conflicts.
• Sound judgement and timely decisions.
• Safety and security policies followed; promotes safety at work.
• Familiarity with SDS sheets for chemicals used.

Responsibilities

• Completes responsibilities within the scheduled work time and budget.
• Meets customer expectations and ensures 100% satisfaction with each service.
• Communicates friendly and respectfully without conflict.
• Communicates effectively with Site Supervisor and management.
• Follows all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Performs physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, climbing stairs carrying.
• Accepts constructive feedback.
• Follows training regarding the use of all equipment and products.
• Adheres to safety and security procedures at each location.
• Helps site supervisor manage site product inventory.
• Keeps janitorial closets clean and organized.
• Makes minor equipment repairs when needed.
• Informs management of employee or client issues.
• Identifies problems and resolves issues by gathering facts and establishing solutions.
• Accepts changes and expectations effectively.
• Follows work assignments and expectations.
• Maintains a harassment-free environment.
• Works with integrity and ethics.
• Identifies areas for improvement at sites and reports feedback to Site Supervisor.
