Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of cleaners; provide training for new staff and ongoing development; set performance expectations and conduct evaluations; foster a positive team environment.
• Scheduling and Work Assignments: Develop and manage cleaning schedules; assign tasks based on priority and workload; monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections; address deficiencies and implement corrective actions; maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage and order cleaning supplies; monitor inventory levels; maintain cost-effective practices.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines; train staff on chemicals and equipment; investigate accidents and incidents.
• Communication: Liaise with facility management; communicate updates to staff; resolve concerns within the team.
• Documentation: Maintain records of activities, schedules, and inventory; prepare reports; ensure compliance with policies.
