Job summary

Caravan Facilities Management LLC is seeking an Evening Janitor in Smyrna, TN to maintain clean and orderly premises. This full-time role reports to the Janitorial Supervisor within Operations and is Non-Exempt under the FLSA.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, floors, fixtures, and windows, stocking supplies, and light maintenance tasks as needed. Must be reliable, punctual and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school or up to one month experience.
• Language Skills: Read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor; cleans rugs and upholstery.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and sills; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Replaces light bulbs; performs grass cutting and snow shoveling if required.
