The position offers evening shifts and can be part-time or full-time, with up to 50% travel as needed. Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and communicate in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience as Porter, Janitor or Custodian preferred
• Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment
• Able to stand, bend, squat and lift up to 40+ lbs
• Solid verbal communication skills in English or Spanish
• Availability to work flexible shifts (weekends/evenings)
• Reliable and professional

Responsibilities

• Collect and discard garbage
• Sweep and mop floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms
• Dust/wipe high touch areas
• Ensure building entrance is free of clutter
• Fix minor technical issues, like changing bulbs
• Report damages and monitor repairs
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
• Place safety hazard signs (wet floors)
• Respond to spills or cleaning crises
• Comply with health and safety regulations
