Job summary

The Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner for a part-time 2nd shift in Peoria, IL. You will perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities also include stocking supplies, reporting hazards, and monitoring building security. Ideal candidates are 18+, reliable, detail-oriented and customer-friendly, with the ability to work evenings and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong detail orientation.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
