Job summary

OnPoint Building Services is seeking a Part-Time Evening Cleaner for Norfolk. Shift is Mon-Fri 6:00pm-9:30pm to service a car dealership, with required background check and drug screen. Duties include trash disposal, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, restroom restocking, and office area cleaning.

Must be 18+, reliable transportation, and pass background checks. Candidates with prior cleaning or janitorial experience are welcome; training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial work experience is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to the job location.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Vacuuming (upright and backpack).
• Dusting surfaces.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Restroom cleaning and restocking.
• Office area cleaning.
• Ensure timely completion of cleaning areas according to schedule.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards; meet customer service expectations.
• Perform other janitorial duties as needed.

Ensuring the accurate and timely cleaning of a car dealership. You will need to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.

General Purpose:

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Vacuuming (upright and vacuum backpack).
• Dusting.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Sweeping.
• Mopping.
• Restroom cleaning, restocking, and replenishing.
• Office area cleaning.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned cleaning area(s) according to schedule.
• Follows safety guidelines, quality standards, and ensures customer service expectations are met.
• Performs other janitorial duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires bending, twisting, lifting (up to 25 pounds), stretching, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time.
