Job summary

OnPoint Building Services in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking motivated individuals to join our locally owned janitorial team. We provide services across Hampton Roads, focusing on creating cleaner, healthier work environments for our clients.

You will perform routine cleaning duties, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to job location.

Responsibilities

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Take trash out to the dumpster.
• Cleaning glass entrance ways.
• Sweeping and entry ways.
• Cleaning and sanitizing sinks, toilets and urinals.
• Restroom cleaning, restocking, and replenishing.
• Cleaning and filling dispensers, towels, toilet paper, and sanitizers.
• Cleaning mirrors.
• Cleaning partitions and enclosures.
• Sweeping, damp mopping and sanitizing floors.
• Cleaning light covers.
• Sweeping, damp mopping, and sanitizing breakrooms.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces in break room areas.
• Wiping walls and ceilings.
• Cleaning, wiping, and clearing cobwebs, racks, wall marks, ceiling grid, skylights, under and around racks.
• Following safety guidelines, quality standards, and ensuring customer service expectations are met.
