Job summary

A Child's Heart Learning Center & Nursery in Boise, Idaho is seeking a part-time custodian to provide a safe, attractive, and clean environment for children and staff. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a supportive team and flexible hours.

Responsibilities include cleaning, lifting up to 50 pounds, following written and verbal instructions, and maintaining custodial equipment. Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with competitive benefits and a family-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous custodial and grounds experience required
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
• Possess working knowledge of the methods, techniques, and materials used in custodial work
• Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
• Familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean place to learn and play
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as part of daily operations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order
• Assist administration and staff as needed to support the center's operations
