Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification eligibility as a Child Life Specialist within 1 year.
• 1–2 years of work with infants, children, or adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial and developmental needs of patients and families.
• Provide play/art and preparation for procedures and surgeries.
• Document interventions weekly and in the patient chart.
• Order, stock, and maintain supplies; keep play areas safe.
• Initiate new programs as assigned by Director of Child Life.
