Job summary

Tower Laboratories, Ltd. in Michigan seeks a lab-based chemist to perform all phases of chemical testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products, following approved procedures.

You will assist the QC Supervisor and Technical Department to maintain smooth QC operations. The role requires hands-on experience with analytical methods, data analysis, and strong attention to detail, enabling reliable documentation and method development.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biology or related sciences.
• 1–2 years of experience in chemical laboratory operations.
• Experience with pharmaceutical lab equipment and analytical methods.
• Familiarity with cGMPs and GLPs.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product testing using instrumental and wet chemistry methods.
• Document results in lab notebooks and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain notebooks, logbooks, and trackers.
• Handle raw materials sampling, storage, and distribution.
• Assist in QC method development and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, cGLP, OSHA.
• Provide guidance and training to new personnel.
• Maintain safe, organized work area.
• Notify aberrant results and participate in investigations.
