AristaCare Health Services is seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in our Edison, NJ facility. Shift: 7p–3a.

Duties include supervising staff, administering medications, charting, and coordinating resident care with physicians and the Nurse Supervisor. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care setting and holds an active RN or LPN license.

Competenze

• Must hold Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility.
• Training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.

Mansioni

• Verify resident identity before administering medication or treatment.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Greet admitted residents and escort to rooms as needed.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Complete and file required records at admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charts.
