Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; preferred with additional training.
• Less than one year of related experience; 1-2 years preferred.
• Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician required.
• On-Call is required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates instruments, assembles trays and sterilizes instrument trays for procedures.
• Assembles case carts for surgical procedures and processes specialized instrument trays and tools under time pressure.
• Sterilizes instruments and documents BI results and load contents; notifies supervisor if issues arise.
