Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England's Saint Mary's Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Technician for the Evening shift (3pm–11:30pm) in Waterbury, CT. The role provides sterilization support to the Operating Room and related departments, with rotating weekends and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as Central Sterile Processing Technician or eligible to sit exam within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, process, and reassemble instruments for sterilization; operate steam, Sterrad and E+O Sterilizers.
• Support OR case carts and stock requests; communicate replenishment needs.
• Follow infection control policies and handle chemicals and hazardous substances safely.
